The beautiful house is located six kilometers from Cefalu, in the green Cefalu mountains. Here is silent, but still there are houses lived in year-round in the surrounding area. The views are breathtaking with sea views in two directions.

Cefalu started as a simple fishing village perched between the sea and a steep, craggy limestone promontory. However the town has retained its medieval appearance and its glorious Romanesque cathedral still towers over the network of narrow streets lined with buildings featuring elaborate architectural decoration. Cefalu provides the gateway to the Madonie Park. Established in 1989, the area plays host to a wide variety of indigenous birds and animals including some 70 species of brightly coloured butterflies. Extending over some 98,000 areas, the park is densely wooded and provides endless scope for walkers, hikers and campers.
