Price: 130 000 €
In Scillato, a small village with 700 inhabitants, is this old house located. It is 300 m2 large and has 10 000 m2 land with orange- and olive trees. The house needs to be renovated and can be disposed either as a two family house or for a commersiell activity. Another possibility can be letting out to conferences, or making it into more and smaller apartments.
Scillato is right on the border to the large national park la Madonie, and about halv an hours drive from Sicilies pearl, Cefalù. Nearest larger town is Termini Imerese (30 000 inhabitants). By car you will be there in 20 minutes. There are plenty of national park trekkers in the area, but not many overnight possibilities.
There is only a 5-10 minutes walk to the village Scillato, and here you will find a pizzeria, a supermercato and a bar. The sea is 15 minutes away by car, and here you will also find shopping malls for larger shopping rounds.
The nature is rural and mountainous. The area is extremely fruitful with a lot of cultivated land. Above all, the area has plenty of fruit farms, but also cattle and agriculture.
The house
Except from the living are, the house contains a small church room. The little church has a preserved altar picture and s little bowl for holy water by the door. The two levels have own entrencies and it is possible to divide them into separate apartments. The house is strucurally stable, but needs to be renovated internall. It is house with great potential! The inner disposition gives a cosy impression.
The house has several plenty of space outdoors, and the entire roof is an enourmous terrace (150 m2), with a stair on the outside of the house.
Garden
Most of the garden is behind the house, which is an advantage as the front face the autostrade approximately 50 metres away. At the front of the house the traffic is a bit disturbing, and the house would benefit from buildning a sound protecting wall. The back of the house is more quiet. Today the entire 10 000 m2 garden in the back of the house is overgrown with fruit trees. Taking away some of the trees would give room for a larger garden, or perhaps a pool.
